Giudicelli & Paultre Negel
By placing plant knowledge on an equal footing with cognitive-human consciousness/knowledge, we strive for a non-hegemonic view of the world. Through this equating of human and plant consciousness in Trans:plant there is a turning away from anthropocentric ideas of world and thought.
All audiences are physically engaged with all body parts of the other participants, and in particular with the resistance limits of the other. There is basically no speaking. The diction of sentences is based on principles of hypnosis, and the composition of the live music activates slight changes in the state of consciousness.
